A great day to check the mail

2/10/2024 Mailbox Peak

There was way more sunshine than forecasted, and way less snow than normal, making for a great morning to "check the mail" at Mailbox Peak.

When the snow is deep, the boulder field required a more direct (and much steeper) route, but today the field was navigable. The snow at the top wasn't too much either, making for an excellent winter hike. That, combined with the great weather, make for my most favorite trip up Mailbox Peak.

Along the way home, I made a quick stop at Snoqualmie Falls to round out a very nice day.
